Whats next?
Will be updating as I have time. Has taken me all day to do this much & am still confused
Heres the starting point------------> *
I had a pre-xmas get together with Victoria, Aleta, Dylan, & Dustin on the 19th of December. Had a great dinner of BBQ'd rib eyes & trout. Opened a few presents & a great time. Took the annual hat trick pictures for Travis (which I'll post when I figure that out). I finished packing up the truck and left Yaak Mt on the 21st of December & drove to Sandpoint, ID to pick up a chick! Luckily one was waiting for me, Thank you Victoria!
The trip down started with driving to Id Falls Id the first day in great weather, Victoria & I had some really good conversations, Ill let her tell that one. The next day to Cedar City UT in a snow storm! was fun. Made Victoria drive, I had a tottie & relaxed......don't need no stress!
On to Vegas the next day on the 24th. Weather again was great! Sunny & warm. Beautiful drive thru Utah with the red rock cliffs & Mountains. Snow in the Mtns but sunny & warm on the freeway. Vegas was Vegas. If I was a better gambler it would be more fun. We stayed @ the Gold Coast, which is a little off the strip on Flamingo Road. Brian, an old friend from high school got us a room for $55 per night! We gambled some, had the sea food buffet & stuffed ourselves & ruined the evening as we had to go to bed quite early. It was tough dragging Victoria away from the Black Jack table (She is quite the gambler, sometimes even betting). Xmas day we open presents again......, went to the dinner show "Tournament of the Kings" @ the Excalibur Casino. Was quite interesting. The wenches who waited on would not give us any silverware, I was fine with the fingers as that's how I do it most of the time anyway. A little more gambling & off to bed. One last breakfast with Brian & we toured the town in the PU.....only missed hitting about 3 cars so was quite satisfied with my driving.
Sadly, then I had to take Victoria to the Airport as some people have to work I discovered. Will surely miss here over the next few months, but I am thinking she may be back!
Then off towards LA. Wrong turn right out of the airport so the trip did not start good. Then a traffic jam @ the state line, inching along for about an hour. Out in the middle of nowhere, I swear it was not a good omen. The opposite lanes towards Vegas was bumper to bumper for about 100 miles. Also not a good omen, I wondering why everyone is leaving the country? I knew I should have brought my boat in case the place slides into the Ocean! Lost again a couple of times, I swore last time I was here that I would make sure I had better directions & knew the route......but hey can't cover everything. But finally made it about 7 pm. 6 hrs for a 3 1/2 hr drive.
